Jan 28 - International Evening: Scottish "Burns Night"

For our International Evening this month, we have decided to celebrate all things Scottish! Sign up now for an evening of Highland fun.

Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face,
Great chieftain o the puddin'-race!
Aboon them a' ye tak your place,
Painch, tripe, or thairm:
Weel are ye worthy o' a grace
As lang's my arm.

Burns Night, a party in honor of the famed Scottish poet Robert Burns, is traditionally celebrated on or around the poet's birthday on Jan. 25. We'll be hosting our own version of this night here at the LiLi Centre on Saturday, Jan. 28.

The traditional celebration includes haggis (real and vegetarian), Scottish whisky, kilts and ceilidh music. We'll also have plenty of other Scottish specialties and side dishes cooked up by Scots—a real Burns feast!

When: Saturday, Jan. 28
Time: 19:00-22:00
Where: LiLi Centre, Alpenquai 40a, 6005 Luzern (directions)
Cost: CHF 25 for adults, CHF 15 for children (cash only)

The cost covers the meal and glass of whisky. Additional beverages will be available for purchase. Please bring cash with you. Any cancellations need to be made before Jan. 26 as we will need to buy ingredients; after that date we ask that no-shows cover their costs.

As always, our International Evenings sell out quickly, so be sure to reserve your spot early! The event is children friendly, we'll have appropriate food and beverages for all.

Update 27. Jan 2017: This event is now sold out. Join us for our next international evening next month!
