An active body helps create an active mind. We host yoga and pilates classes here at the LiLi Centre to help you get in shape and have fun doing it! It's also a great way to meet new people and make new friends. Our ideal location near the Ufschötti and the lake also makes the centre a good meeting spot to host outdoor workouts and exercise classes. You can use the LiLi Centre as a meeting point to change, store items, and grab post-workout drinks. We even have changing rooms and a shower downstairs. The class is suitable for Beginners and Intermediates, so I’ve you’ve never tried Pilates before this is a great opportunity to give it a go! Pilates is based on central core stability exercises which focus on improving posture, core strength, balance, endurance and mobility. It also helps corrects muscle imbalances, musculoskeletal injuries and reduce recurrence of back and neck pain.
Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic form of yoga that emphasizes the harmonic connection of breath and movement. The poses (asanas) in Ashtanga are performed always in the same order, which allows students to learn the sequence and focus on the internal, meditative aspects of the practice.
In the classes you will learn how to breath in a correct way during yoga, how to connect breath and movement as well as how to do the poses with the correct technique. After you learn the sequence you will be able to practice it by yourself at home or when you travel. Daily Ashtanga practice will make you healthier and happier
