Some of you have been asking for a morning yoga class, so for the month of December we're going to host two morning sessions with the lovely Martyna Syguda.
If you've never done yoga or tried the Ashtanga style, this is your chance to try a "Probestunde" (trial class) with Martyna. If there is enough interest in the morning class, we will run a morning series starting in January 2017 in addition to our evening series.
When: Thursday, Dec. 8 and 15
Where: LiLi Centre, Alpenquai 40a, 6005 Luzern (directions)
Cost: CHF 20 for members, CHF 25 for non-members (price per class)
You can choose to take one or both classes. The class will take place with a minimum of 5 participants. Fees must be paid in cash to Martyna before the first class.
WHAT IS ASHTANGA?
Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic form of yoga that emphasizes the harmonic connection of breath and movement. The poses (asanas) in Ashtanga are performed always in the same order, which allows students to learn the sequence and focus on the internal, meditative aspects of the practice.
In the classes you will learn how to breath in a correct way during yoga, how to connect breath and movement as well as how to do the poses with the correct technique. After you learn the sequence you will be able to practice it by yourself at home or when you travel. Daily Ashtanga practice will make you healthier and happier :)
The class is mostly meant for the beginners and people with little experience in yoga, but everyone is welcome.

Martyna discovered yoga when she was 12 and right away it became an important part of her life.
