Nov. 17 — Navigating the Swiss School System

Thinking about going local? Or do you already have children in a local school and need more information about the public school system? Join this valuable information session to learn how to navigate the Swiss school system.

The Swiss public school system is considered the best in the world, yet it differs substantially from other school systems.

This event aims to inform expat parents about main educational differences, school assessment and routine, transition from primary to secondary, and vital information about cultural norms prevailing in public schools. The session will be hosted by Stefanie Busse-Dickinson of LivingSwitzerland, a consultancy offering schooling advance, language learning, and expat orientation in Switzerland.

When: Thursday, Nov. 17
Time: 08:45 to 10:45
Where: LiLi Centre, Alpenquai 40a, 6005 Luzern (directions)
Cost: CHF 54 for members, CHF 64 for non-members

A note from Stefanie Busse-Dickinson:

As a mother of school-aged children and an expat myself, I have had to make sense of extremely different school systems and often found it hard to get accessible information about available schooling options.

Being a school teacher and mother, I want to help you to make informed choices about the right schooling option for your child. My many years of employment at different Swiss schools have given me valuable insights into the Swiss education sector and I have allowed me to provide guidance to many parents.
