The mission behind the Mom in Balance workout program is to help as many women feel physically strong and full of energy, better equipping them to fully enjoy life. More and more women also without kids have recently benefit from our workouts.

For 10 years now, we have had the honour of helping pregnant women stay active and in shape during and after pregnancy. Our workout is designed with the best gynaecologists and pelvic floor physical therapists and is specially tailored to the female body. Mom in Balance has been growing rapidly and worldwide over 6.000 women train with us each week!

In the summer of 2013 Mom in Balance has been introduced in Switzerland by Barbara Rijntjes. Starting in the greater Zürich Area we now offer weekly workouts at more than 10 different locations in Switzerland.

Mom in Balance is the specialist in training the female body and offers 3 programs:

  • Pregnant: to stay fit and healthy throughout your entire pregnancy
  • Back in Shape: to regain your energy and strength after giving birth
  • Mom in Shape: for all women who are up for a challenge and want to stay fit and strong to fully enjoy life.

All workouts are outdoor, whole year through because we believe that being outdoors gives you so much extra energy! The workouts are focused on strengthening the full body and take one hour. We work with resistance bands and with everything nature has to offer.

All of this takes place under the professional guidance of our Mom in Balance trainers who are all trained with with pre- and postnatal knowledge. Our personal attention to every mom makes the workouts suitable for any fitness level.

You have no kids but want to get fitter? No problem! Mom in Balance workouts are offered to all women and you will feel energetic and in great shape.
