Feb 27. - School Seminar 'Schooling in Luzern - what Expat parents need to know'

'How can I help my child with homework if I don't speak German?'
'Is bilingual school the best option for Expat children?'

Choosing the right school option is crucial to the well-being of expat families. Stefanie, an education consultant and teacher with extensive experience in the local and international school system, talks about pros and cons of public versus private schools and helps you to make sense of the local school system.

We will look into early age education and options for children post-primary and discuss how the parent/teacher relationship usually works.

Topics include:
- Your child in the Swiss education system: from kindergarten to high school
- Integration of expat children in the local system
- The different pathways in secondary education
- Making the right choices: Local, bilingual or international school?
