Had a stressful day/week/month/year?? Not even started the day yet and already feeling the strain of a tense mind? Want to learn a new skill? Haven’t enjoyed fitness before? There are a lot more questions I could be asking but the answer to all of them could be ‘Boxercise’.
Don’t worry, this is NOT sparring in a ring or wearing headgear and a mouth guard! It is a fitness class which includes the fitness and skills from boxing, such as punching, skipping, balance, endurance, speed, agility. Classes are formed around the 8 different punches in combination with other exercises that you would typically find in other types of fitness classes. When punching you will be punching a pad and not someone’s face, so it is safe and anyone can take part no matter what your fitness ability, whether you are a beginner or athlete.
